IDM ECO Project

IDM is developing its own new business complex which will be a UK leader in energy efficiency within buildings and we want you to be part of our exciting new ECO project, either through this blog, visiting the site or being involved in product design and use. The process began in June 2009 and completion is due in 2010.

As part of a 30 year business plan, we recently assessed our growth in relation to office and storage space. The conclusion was that current capacity is too small.

Furthermore, our current premises has poor energy efficiency, due to it's basic construction. Faced with a choice to rent larger premises or develop our own, we have opted to develop and make it amongst the most energy efficient in the country.

Situated in Bradford, we aim to use our development as a case study to encourage other businesses to think likewise. We invite clients to see for themselves how they can invest intelligently in new products and services to dramatically reduce the cost of heating and cooling their properties. The benefits extend to cutting carbon emissions, saving money and providing staff with facilities to be proud of.
